According to the Pew Research Center 40% of athiests in the United States are between the ages of 18-29. That figure goes down steadily throughout the age groups. Athiests who identify as White comprise a whopping 78% of all athiests in the United States. First and second generation immigrants identify as athiest at the rate of 13% for the first generation and 13% for the second generation. However, third generation immigrants in the United States identify as athiest at the rate of a whopping 78%. Does the lifestyle in the United States promote athiesm?
Scientists love to say they have answers and the scientific method can resolve problems. The problem is that scientists and other intellectuals have been wrong, wrong, wrong in their conclusions on many things.

Ten quotes could be given on each subject above for every quote given. If man, expert or not, can be wrong about so many things, why give any credence to someone who says there is no God when it cannot be proven scientifically anyway?

Wear Out the Saints
"He would "wear out the saints of the Most High." Daniel 7:25. The prophecy here was given by Daniel, over 2,600 years ago. The sweep of history bears out everything Daniel wrote. During the Dark Ages God's people suffered under the scrutiny of the eyes of this religious, persecuting power. Intrigues, plots, and schemes designed to vex and harass the poor "heretic" were used to exterminate those who opposed the doctrines propounded by the apostate church. The rack, the fagot, and the other tortures used by the Inquisition took their toll. Historians number these slain by religious persecution as 'being between 50,000,000 and 75,000,000. Some say the total was more. Roman Catholic leaders admit this:

Men's Hearts Failing Them for Fear
....men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken." Luke 21:25,26. It is no coincidence that the leading cause of death in the United States relates to heart disease and stroke. The modern pace of life was foreseen by Bible writers. The number one cause of death in the U.S. is heart disease. Stroke comes in at number 5. The Bible predicted this in several places. There is a biblical reason for this as well. It is called sin, falling short of the gloryt of God. Our sins have separated us from God Isaiah 59:1-2. A troubled mind, a person who is filled with hate, greed, malace, jealousy, and other things, is like the troubled sea which casts up mire and dirt. Isaiah 57:20-21. There is no peace of mind for the wicked. The Holy Spirit is working on the conscience until such point in time where the individual no longer responds to the pleading of the holy spirit.
Wars and Distress Among Nations
Luke 21:25
“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;”

And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

Anyone looking at nightly news can hardly deny there is distress among nations. With the advent of modern weapons, this distress has reached extremes never seen before. Mad men in North Korea have the capability of launching missiles with nuclear weapons, and they will soon be able to reach United States territory. Hateful people in Iran can say death to the United States while they spin their contrifuges. United States national news doesn't begin to talk about the trouble in South Sudan, dictators running wild as they ruin their countries in Africa, China persecuting Christians and dissidents, impeachment in South Korea, and political turmoil in the United States. Two world wars, the Korean and Vietnam wars have shown us that sometimes mankind is incapable of avoiding terrible wars. And, the United Nations has been around for over sixty-five years and can't seem to stop any country from invading or fighting with another country. Add to that the possibility of rogue states and individuals with the money and knowledge to put together a nuclear device with a small amount of stolen nuclear material, and we have a situation where many people don't sleep well at night worrying about the possible end of the world caused by any one of the above situations.

A sincere Christian will not wish evil on anyone. But, it is easy to see that God may be sending these people a warning to change their ways.
Decline in Morals
Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
Genesis 6:5 "And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
6 And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
7 And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them".
Of course the text in Genesis was given just before the great flood where Noah preached for 120 years and only eight people were saved in the ark. Today, values are so confused and distorted, respect for the word of God, respect for law and order, are all deteriorating rapidly. Police are disrespected, parents are threatened with lawsuits when they dare to correct their children, if someone "gets away with something" their friends congratulate them, if you owe taxes and don't pay it seems to be all-right as long as you don't get caught. The world today is not just suffering from a weakening of the moral fabric, those who don't get caught are glorified.
One way to judge morals is to example the heroes and idols in society. Any television program covering the entertainment industry is a good example. Hollywood is glorified. When looking at a "couple" there is no mention regarding marriage. As often as not, couples get "divorced" when they were never married to begin with. Same sex couples are treated as normal when they are an abomination to God. God will eventually judge, not any human.
People Will Not Endure Sound Doctrine
2 Timothy 4:3- For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
Nominal Christian churches are popular. Feelings are emphasized at the expense of sound doctrine. Any church with a minister who points out people's faults is not as popular as a minister who just emphasizes a "feel good" religion. You may here the term "getting God's best" or "don't let anyone steal your joy". The problem here is that feelings are emphasized and not sound doctrine.
Knowledge Increased
Daniel 12:4 "But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased".

We are living at the end of time. For almost 2,000 years there was little advancement in science. With the dawn of the 19th century, and even more the 20th, inventions have been made at a frenetic pace.

If that is not enough to prove the point, consider television, radio, home computer, cell phone, internet, advances in medicine and atomic power. Certainly our generation now can say knowledge has increased! The next major event in prophetic time is persecution of the saints because of their loyalty to God's commendments. Then Jesus will come and take His saints home to heaven.
"O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?" Matt. 16:3
